Clarinas dam is the very special mare Valenzia. Valenzia's sire Carinjo was a successful international showjumper ridden by frenchman Patrice Delaveau. The pair notched up plenty of wins at 1.60m level including the CSI5* Longines Los Angeles Masters and CSI5* Grand Prix's wins in Chantilly, Saut Hermes, Antwerp, Bordeau, Oslo, La Baule, St Tropez, Stuttgart and Doha. In 2012 Carinjo came 2nd in the Aachen Grand Prix.

Clarina descends from a highly successful sport family. C-Steffra, one of the best progeny of Clarimo is from this direct dam line! C-Steffra was on the winning Nations Cup team in Aachen in 2023! Clarina's mother Valenzia has a licensed stallion brother Barkeeper who was also successful in sport. A sister of his mother Nischa who was successful at S-Level produced the reserve licensing winner Con Cosmos. Another brother of his mother has also competed at S-Level, while two other siblings have been successful at M-Level. 

Clarina is half sister to Cera Charisma (by Casall) and L.B. Crumble (by Colman).  Crumble is licensed in Holstein and approved for Oldenburg & Hannover. He topped his 30 day test and came 2nd in his 70 day test easily winning the jumping section. Crumble had a remarkable list of results as a 6 year old including 8 wins at L & M level and was successful internationally at 1.55m with Christina Liebherr. Both Clarinsa stallion brothers are are leaving a legacy of top jumpers both here in Australia and in Europe with progeny now jumping at the Olympics!
